Fighting with the elements on Midsummer Night.

The next article was presented about the exhibition on Museum’s Night, as a preview:

19:00 – Exhibition-opening: Tibor Juhász’s feature-length open-air exhibition

from 20:00 Enjoying the view from a baloon

20:30-21:00 - Magmateam – juggler performance

21:00-23:00 – Filmscreening sponsoured by projektorberles.com (Ingmar Bergman: A smile of a summer night ( black& white dubbed swedish romantic comedy, 1955)

There was a serious organizing preparation before the exhibition, especially about getting permission for baloon using on that part of place . I would already give up forcing, but Csilla was fighting, so the Municipality of Budapest gave us the permission with 5 yes, 3 no and 2 hesitating votes. Kardos Miklós, Europe’s champion Európa hőlégballon-pilot was meant to be responsible for the spectacular show on Margareth Island, inviting the Museum’s Night’s audience, hungry for culture.

Everything went well, thank sponsors for that:

But with Saturday, also arrived the rain, which washed off almost the whole exhibition. We knew that the program planned for the island can be a big fall if rain starts. It was such a punishment especially for us: from 6 to 8 the rain was falling with no stop. We could rescue the exhibition from the garden to the front in orther to have a roof above our heads, but we could not do anything with the cold anyway. It was very chilly, and the worst thing was that the baloon could not fly up in such a wind.

That is why I would like to thank everyone once more for walking to Margareth Island in such a bad weather, to visit the exhibition. I was really surprised, and of course, very happy that You came.

The paintings were presented on such a special way, because the storm was not planned, even if we could have, listening to weather forecasts. I was on the opinion that forecasts are always wrong, they are late a few days, but later someone told me that the storm was announced for the day before, so it should rain exactly now.

Finnaly, let’s see some pictures of the exhibition, rescued from the summer storm.
